This
house dates back to the seventeenth century and was odginally built as a
farm manager's house with wine cellars, stables and a hayloft for the Mansi-Bernardini
estate. In 1750 it became a farmhouse from which the stables and wine cellars
were eliminated, and in 1985 it was transformed into a villa.
The house has been tastefully converted with pretty country-style
bedrooms on different levels and modern bathrooms and kitchen.
The house is situated two kilometres from the small village of Segromigno
Monte and 13 kms from the centre of Lucca, on the top of a hill with magnificent
views of the plain below. About 150 metres from the house is the swimming
pool in a breathtaking position among the vineyards and olive groves. There
is a tennis court on the estate. |
